Independent and family owned restaurant Charlie’s Coffee Company & Pizzeria is serving up ‘fresh to order’ pizza using ingredients which are directly sourced from Italy as well as the UK. We love the Smokey Blue which contains 4 different cheeses, including smoked mozzarella and Gorgonzola.

Pizza Pilgrims is a chain but definitely worth a visit. All of their dough is made fresh, daily, and the pizza made with top quality ingredients. Interesting toppings and plenty of choice. Why not try the bottomless pizza? A really beautiful building with great views of the city centre.

Franco Manca’s delicious sourdough pizza is freshly made on site Vegan and gluten free options are available. Cook at home pizzas also available. Originally London based, the pizzeria’s are now all over the country. Simple, tasty pizza.

Signorelli’s Deli is a super friendly, local business which uses high quality Italian ingredients to give you that authentic Italian pizza experience. Great taste and served by the slice so eat it on the go. Plenty of great toppings to choose from so visit lots of times to try them all! There are three locations of Aromi in the city so one to suit your location. They offer tasty, rustic, traditional stone oven cooked sourdough pizza by the slice. Toppings are varied but don’t be afraid to stick with classic Margherita which is simply delicious! Be sure to try the ice-cream too!

De Luca Cucina and Bar boasts plenty of awards for their delicious food and drink offering. The menu includes breads, sharing platters, pasta, risotto dishes and a variety of other dishes including fabulous pizza. Made using Italian flour, it uses the De Luca secret tomato sauce recipe which is really tasty. Plenty of vegetarian choice and gluten free pasta is available. OR HOW ABOUT A FLAMMEKUECHE?

Amelie Cambridge

Alternatively, why not try a flammekueche at the Grafton Centre’s Amelie? A little like a pizza but lighter, this classic flatbread is a thin yeast-free base (their own recipe of course), spread with seasoned crème fraiche, then topped with high quality, local ingredients and stone-baked. Both savoury and sweet versions available.
