Remember remember the 5th of November- it is difficult to forget it with these wonderful firework displays. Here are the best places for bonfire night in Cambridge, in and around the city. Please remember firework safety and to look after your pets around the firework season.

Midsummer Common, Cambridge: 

Firstly. we have the main city centre fireworks display in Cambridge which is held on Midsummer common and organised by Illumina. You can easily access the display from the city centre and it is a really top quality event. Importantly the event has a really lovely atmosphere.

Ely Fireworks Display:

Next ,  the brilliant display organised by ETCT and held at Cherry Hill. The fireworks have a beautiful backdrop in the pretty cathedral city. Fireworks begin at 7pm, with gates opening at 4.30 pm. Make a night of it by visiting one of the great local pubs or restaurants.

 

Hemingford, St Ives:

Held at the Big Field site, London Road, St Ives (PE27 5ER),  gates open at 5.00pmm the bonfire is lit at 5.30pm, followed by the spectacular Fireworks Display at 6.30pm. In addition to the fireworks, enjoy some great food. A really lovely event.

Kimbolton Castle Firework Show:

The annual award winning Kimbolton Castle Fireworks Display is held at Kimbolton House, near Huntingdon. Enjoy the spectacular award winning fireworks display, great live music, and plenty of delicious food & drink. Above all a fabulous bonfire night experience.

Fireworks Fantasia, Peterborough:

The wonderful annual Fireworks Display is held at the East of England Arena. Everything you expect from a full-size professional fireworks display with much, much more. Gates open at 4.30 and the event closes at 10pm, with the display starting at 7.30pm.

Huntingdon Fireworks:

Finally, last and definitely not least, raising money for the wonderful Magpas, Huntingdon fireworks. It is held at the racecourse on Fri, 28 Oct 2022, at 17:00. This family-friendly event has something for everyone and is not a fireworks night to be missed! Furthermore you will be supporting the charity too.
