Jesus Green Lido:
Chesterton Rd, Cambridge CB4 3AX
Jesus Green Swimming Pool has been open since 1923 and is one of the few lido’s built in the 1920’s left in the country. It is unheated so if you are swimming in the winter months, wetsuits are recommended. Locals love the lido and it is extremely popular. Adult non-members pay £5 to swim. Children and over 60’s pay £3. A beautiful setting.
Parkside Pool:
Gonville Place, Cambridge, CB1 1LY
If you are looking for a fun day out, look no further than Parkside pool. A 25 metre pool, complete with diving boards and a water slide, kids (and big kids!) will love it here. Open each day, early until late (reduced hours at weekends), and well priced for non-members at £5 for adults and £3 for juniors.
Lammas Land Pool:
Cambridge CB3 9HD
This free outdoor public pool is free so great for a free day out. What’s more, it also has a large playground with swings, slides and climbing frames, toilets and a refreshment kiosk. Also loads of space for a picnic! Sheep’s Green learner pool is a short walk away.
Abbey Leisure Complex:
Whitehill Rd, Cambridge CB5 8NT
Abbey Leisure Complex offer a 25 metre pool which has 5 swimming lanes so is great for a serious swim. It also has smaller learner pool is 12 metres square and is 0.8 metres deep throughout for learners and children to enjoy. Open each day, early until late (reduced hours at weekends), and well priced for non-members at £5 for adults and £3 for juniors.
