Cambridge Chocolate Festival:

10-12th February 2023chocolate festival

Histon Smokehouse hosts the first Cambridge Chocolate Festival this year, giving you the chance to take a bean to bar making tour, sip a chocolate cocktail, visit the sample shop and meet producers of all things chocolate. Cambridge Festival:

9th- 11th June 2023tours of Cambridge

Replacing the Science and Festival of Ideas this year,  is the Cambridge Festival with plenty of activities spanning Sciences and the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. In addition to the discussions, you will find 350 events and activities including films, self-guided walking tours, and ‘try this at home’ activities. The festival offers a mixture of online, on-demand, downloadable, and in-person events.

Sound and Vision Festival:

20th-22nd April 2023

Sound and Vision Cambridge is taking place across 8 stages in various locations in Cambridge. The festival will feature over 70 comedy and music acts, showcasing new and established artists. You can buy individual tickets for specific acts or an event wristband to see much more. There is also a conference programme alongside

Cambridge Literacy Festival :

20-23rd April 2023things to do in Cambridge

Cambridge Literary Festival took its offering online during lockdowns and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to events from the comfort of our own home. This Spring, the online festival is back with events to inspire adults and children alike and celebrate wonderful literature. Get involved and book the Cambridge Literary Festival 2023 online here. Cambridge Beer Festival:

22nd-27th May 2023

The Cambridge Beer Festival is held during May and November each year. Well attended and popular with locals, the festival showcases real ales, ciders, Perry’s, wines and beers.  It also has a brilliant cheese stall- what more could you want? Take in some live music and quality drinks with a festival atmosphere. A really fun weekend.

The Cambridge Club Festival:

9th-11th June 2023

Cambridge Club Festival is a family festival of music, arts and culture. Take in some feel good music, for example Lionel Richie, Grace Jones and Billy Ocean. Why not also take advantage of the mind, body and soul activities, for example disco yoga, meditation, gong baths and holistic treatments. In addition you can also get some top notch grub from the street food vendors. Family friendly entertainment available. Day or weekend tickets available and campers and glampers can take advantage of the after dark discos too!

Cambridge Rock Festival:

3rd-6th August 2023Rock festival

Take in over 65 bands playing rock, folk, blues music and more on 3 stages at the Cambridge Rock festival. Real ales, cider, lagers and wines are on offer. Dog and family friendly. Above all, just great music at the Old Red Lion Inn, Linton Road, Horseheath. Pay what you can afford ticket scheme available.

Strawberries and Creem Festival:

June 2023

Music and youth culture festival Strawberries and Creem brings together Hip-Hop, R&B, Afrobeats, Dancehall, House, Garage, and Drum & Bass artists in their two day music festival. Based at Childerley Orchards, you are able to buy a weekend or day ticket. After dark entertainment is available for those camping or glamping on site. This is an adults only festival.

Cambridge Summer Music Festival:

 July 2023

Concerts, choirs, soloists, bands and orchestras perform for the lucky people of Cambridge at many beautiful venues arounds the city including churches, the Botanical gardens, College chapels and more. Cambridge Music Festival. In summary beautiful music in beautiful venues.

Cambridge Folk Festival:

27th-30th July 2023

Cambridge festivals

The Cambridge Folk festival is one of the longest running and most prestigious folk festivals in the world. The festival, held at Cherry Hilton Hall Park, mixes an eclectic host of quality artists with activities to suit everyone. Get involved in den building, tai-chi, instrument making, sculpting, drawing, sewing and a whole host of music, arts and craft related activities. Acts include Passenger, Seasick Steve and Suzanne Vega. Buy day, weekend or camping tickets and enjoy!

The Magic of Thailand:

5th-6th August 2023

Parkers Piece hosts The Magic of Thailand, the ultimate in Thai food, arts and crafts, dancing, Thai boxing (Muay Thai) demonstrations, ladyboy shows, and Thai massage. A great outdoor event costing just £4 per person. In summary a great family day out.

We Out Here Festival 2022:

10th- 14th August 2023

Family friendly We Out Here Festival joins live music with DJ sets for music lovers. For instance enjoy soul, hip hop, house, afro, electronica, jazz and more.  Enjoy great food and drink, arts and culture, wellness, and plenty of family activities, all on a beautiful farm near Abbots Ripton in Cambridgeshire. Weekend tickets available.

16th- 17th Sept 2023afternoon tea

The Cambridge Autumn Food Home and Craft Fair brings together a wide range of arts, crafts, food, drink, homewares and lifestyle stalls on Parker’s Piece. For instance, learn how to keep bees, bake, make Jams and pickles as well as other classes including flowers and flower arranging. In other words an outdoor foodies heaven.
