Hot Numbers sets the standard for speciality coffee in Cambridge. They have two shops now but the original one just off Mill road blazed a trail for high end coffee when it first opened. They also have a roastery that has a café, bakery, and coffee training facility. The coffee is the absolute star of the show, roasted in house and served by friendly and highly professional baristas. They also have a good brunch offering to go alongside your drink which is worth checking out.

Bould Brothers Coffee

Founded by brothers Max and Alex , this small but perfectly formed shop serves high quality speciality coffee. They also have a branch on Regent Street so perfect for a quick drink on the way into Cambridge from the train station. They are committed to serving the best possible coffee, all prepared by the highly trained team. Highly recommended.

Espresso Library

Since opening in 2015 this excellent coffee shop has gone from strength to strength. They now have a second branch near the grand arcade shopping centre. More than just superb coffee, they also have a delicious menu that is well worth a try too. Perfectly made porridge for breakfast or try the famous frittata for lunch.
