The bathing:hot tubs Cambridge Paus

Paus has eco-friendly, wood fired hot-tubs and saunas for you to enjoy so you are able to relax knowing that you are not harming the planet. They hold up to 4 people and the temperature is tweaked to your liking. Complementary water arrives to keep you hydrated and the friendly and knowledgeable owners explain the health benefits and how to get the most from your experience. An added touch of decadence also came in the shape of a glass of complementary fizz!hot tubs Cambridge

Whilst your body regenerates and detoxifies immersed in hot water, you are also exposed to daylight, your lungs are filled with fresh, clean air and your eyes rest upon natural, green spaces.’ PausPaus Cambridge

The views here are spectacular and the combination of warmth and fresh air made us feel wonderfully clear headed and relaxed. Be sure to plunge into the cold tub too to get the benefits of the extreme and rapid temperature changes. See more about the health benefits of the hilltop bathing here.  You are able to bathe by day or visit at night when the pit fires and twinkly lights add to your experience.

We paid £35 for 3 hours of bathing, which included a complementary glass of fizz in the tub, and use of the meadows.

The Meadows:

As a reflexologist, I was in my element taking the barefoot trail. Walk, surrounded by nature, through a series of barefoot sensory experiences for the feet. The textures have been created using recycled, eco-friendly products. It  not only stimulate different reflex points but also offer the benefits of ‘earthing’. These include; ‘increasing antioxidants, reducing inflammation, decreasing stress or anxiety, and improving sleep.’hammocks Paus Cambridge

‘Hammock Alley’ was a fabulous chance to enjoy the feeling of weightlessness. Lay back and look up at the trees. I can image spending hours here reading on a warm day!  The calming, rocking motion is so relaxing and really made me feel sleepy. Utter bliss.meadows Paus

There is also a sauna nearby which you can hire privately for you and your party,  and a wild swimming lake which is currently being prepared for guests use in the near future.

The Hilltop Bistro:Hilltop Bistro

The Hilltop Bistro showcases local, seasonal produce in its delicious homemade food. We enjoyed the tasty vegetable soup and the tasty cakes during our visit. Enjoy the food on the terrace or in the café- food with a view.
