Converted farm buildings Burwash Manor offers a complete shopping experience with its collection of independent stores including home interiors, clothes and their café. Strictly speaking a delicatessen, the shop sells vegetables, fruit and pork products from its own farm. There are also oodles of fabulous products from other local producers to tempt you. The cheese and cake selections are fabulous! The shop aims to be plastic free where possible. A lovely trip out for a wander and a bite to eat- why not visit the farm too? Shelford Deli acts as a very welcome link between small scale producers and customers. The artisan grocery store is stacked with many excellent local products in addition to some fabulous foods from around the globe. All are carefully sourced and are top quality. Sample the beautiful produce in the meals from the Deli Kitchen and enjoy some of the café- restaurant take out meals. The pizza is a huge hit with customers- enjoy!

Bushel Box Farm Shop:

Out of the city in the village of Willingham you will find the Bushel Box Farm Shop. As a working fruit farm you can expect to find delicious seasonal fruit and also their homemade jam using the aforementioned. You can buy their homegrown vegetables which sit nicely alongside tasty apple juice, local honey, eggs, oils, ice-cream and freshly made local cakes. Freshly baked bread also available on specified days.

Nestled in the Coton Orchard Garden Centre is a vast farm shop packed with a wide range of locally sourced produce including fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, homemade baked goods, delicious confectionery, preserves and a wide choice of other goodies. The garden centre also has a café on site so you can browse the other departments and grab a snack while you visit.

This city centre based farm shop stocks excellent quality local produce including freshly based bread, pies, and cakes, fruit, and vegetables. You will also find meat and fish, dairy and eggs and oodles of other great products like cooking goods and gourmet yummy bits! This sits nicely alongside their eco-friendly household products. Owned by local couple Ben and Vikki, the Radmore Farm Shop is all about a low/zero-waste, quality shopping experience.

Darwin Nurseries and Farm Shop:

Darwin Nurseries and Farm Shop is a fabulous NHS community project offering local people with mental health challenges and learning disabilities the opportunity and support to gain life and work skills and experiences. The 7.5 acres is home to their resident goats, sheep, pigs, chickens and rabbits. You can also visit the greenhouse and café in addition to the farm shop. The shop itself sells eggs (from their own chickens), fruit and vegetables, meats, cheese and juices and an extensive range of local and handmade jam, pickles, chutneys together. salad dressings and speciality oils and vinegars. They also have garden supplied, pet foods and more!

 

Johnsons of Old Hurst:

Johnsons is situated in the village of Old Hurst so a trip out of the city but worth the journey. A popular meeting point with parents due to the onsite mini zoo, Johnsons of Old Hurst have their farm shop which sells local and seasonal fruit and vegetables, homemade fresh bread, pies, cakes and other tasty goodies. The gift shop also has some lovely bits to peruse. They have a top quality butchery, featuring pork and products from their own pigs, a café, woodland walk and play area so a destination for everyone to enjoy.
