This Mill Road based quality fish and chip shop produces delicious food by using “the best and freshest ingredients.” The Sea Tree strives to “minimise their environmental impact” by recycling what they can (including all the oil they use) and using either recyclable or biodegradable packaging. Frying in vegetable oil with no animal or palm used, they offer gluten free and some great vegetarian options too including their tasty halloumi fries. Why not try a deep fried mars bar?

The Viking Chip Shop is a family run business that has a loyal local following. This is a great quality traditional fish and chip shop menu which is frying predominately in rapeseed oil. This long standing favourite is still one of the best around. The Petrou brothers have years of experience and have won countless awards for the quality of their fish and chips. The crispness comes from frying in the traditional beef dripping and using top quality, locally sourced produce. All fish is from sustainable sources and they use H.E pan technology to produce fish and chips that are 7% (700 calories) lower in fat than a standard portion.
